Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction & Scope

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Goods Arena (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including pawn loans, outright purchases, consignments, decluttering solutions, and retail sales. By accessing our physical locations, website, or services, you (“Customer,” “Seller,” or “Borrower”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. General Eligibility & Identification

  1. Age Requirement: Customers buying, selling, or pawning items must be at least [18 / 21] years of age.

  2. Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Civil ID, Passport, Driver’s License) is mandatory for all pawn, sale, and consignment transactions.

  3. Ownership Verification: You guarantee that you are the lawful owner of all items offered to Goods Arena, or that you have explicit, verifiable authorization from the legal owner to sell or pledge the items. All items must be free and clear of encumbrances, liens, or third-party claims.

3. Pawn Loans & Redemptions

  1. Pawn Ticket: A formal pawn ticket/contract will be issued for every transaction. The ticket outlines the loan principal, interest rates, service fees, maturity date, and grace period.

  2. Interest & Fees: Interest rates and service charges accrue in accordance with local legal limits and are detailed on your pawn ticket.

  3. Redemption: To redeem pledged items, the Borrower must present the original pawn ticket, valid legal identification, and pay the full principal plus accrued interest and applicable fees.

  4. Forfeiture & Default: If a loan is not redeemed or renewed on or before the agreed maturity date (or expiration of any legal grace period), the pledged item will be defaulted. Title and ownership of the item will automatically transfer to Goods Arena to satisfy the outstanding debt, and the item may be offered for sale.

4. Direct Sales, Decluttering & Consignment

  1. Outright Purchase: When Goods Arena purchases an item directly from you, the sale is final upon payout. Ownership immediately transfers to Goods Arena, and items cannot be returned or reclaimed by the seller.

  2. Decluttering Services:

    • Items collected under decluttering or home-clearance requests will undergo appraisal.

    • Items deemed suitable for resale, pawn, or donation will be processed according to the specific service agreement executed at the time of collection.

  3. Consignment (if applicable): Consigned items remain your property until sold. Payouts and consignment commission rates are governed by the separate Consignment Agreement.

5. Retail Sales & Returns

  1. As-Is Sale: All pre-owned merchandise, electronics, jewelry, and goods sold by Goods Arena are offered on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis, with all faults, unless explicitly accompanied by a written warranty from Goods Arena.

  2. Return Policy: All retail purchases are final. Refunds or exchanges are only offered if required by applicable consumer protection laws or explicitly stated on the sales receipt.

6. Stolen Goods & Legal Compliance

  1. Zero Tolerance: Goods Arena strictly complies with all local regulations regarding stolen property.

  2. Reporting: We maintain full transparency with law enforcement agencies. Information regarding transactions and items offered may be shared with relevant authorities for verification.

  3. Seizure: If an item brought in by a Customer is identified as stolen, Goods Arena reserves the right to hold the item and cooperate fully with law enforcement.

7. Limitation of Liability

  1. Goods Arena is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or purchase of pre-owned goods.

  2. Our maximum liability for any lost, damaged, or stolen item held under a pawn or consignment agreement is strictly capped at the appraised value listed on the official agreement/ticket.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction / Country / State]. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of or relating to Goods Arena’s services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in [Jurisdiction].
